French 75 recipes almost always include simple syrup to balance the tart lemon juice. Rose and lemon make a delicious combination and with both flavors complementing the gin and bubbles. To uplevel the pink, we used a sparkling rosé.

FRENCH 75 INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz Gin
- 1 oz Social Mixers Rose Simple Syrup
- ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- Sparkling Rosé
HOW TO MAKE A FRENCH 75
- In an ice-filled shaker, combine gin, Social Mixers Rose Simple Syrup, and lemon juice.
- Shake until you hear the ice cracking, about 20-30 seconds.
- Strain onto a champagne flute.
- Top with sparkling rosé.
TIPS & TRICKS FOR THE PERFECT FRENCH 75
Lemon juice oxidizes quickly and can take on a bitter taste. Juice your lemon as you’re making your cocktail so it’s as fresh as possible.
Don’t skip the shake! Shaking chills the drink and distributes the lemon juice and simple syrup.
Add the sparkling rosé after you’ve strained the cocktail into your flute, or it may get a little messy.
