Hibiscus Rosehip Daiquiri

Growing up in Southeast Louisiana, I thought that daiquiris were frozen concoctions that only came out of machines and were usually purchased at a drive-thru. My first classic daiquiri experience did not occur until I was well into my 20’s. If you have yet to experience the tart refreshment that is a classic daiquiri, there is no better time than the present.

Our Hibiscus Rosehip Simple Syrup and fresh lime juice taste as if they should always be paired together. A good smooth silver rum serves as the perfect base for this cocktail served straight-up. No blenders are used in the making of this drink!


2 oz. Silver Rum

1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

1/2 oz. Social Mixers Hibiscus Rosehip Simple Syrup


In a cocktail shaker, combine rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. 

Add ice and shake for 20-30 seconds.

Strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with lime wheel. 


Drive-thru daiquiris? 

Yes, drive-thru daiquiris. Common in Louisiana, these are small buildings that sell frozen daiquiris via drive-thru. No, you cannot drink while driving. Once the straw is put in the drink it becomes an open container.
