'Tis the season for sweater weather, scary movies, and cocktails with creepy names. We’ve already shared our interpretation of the Corpse Reviver #2 and felt like its lesser-known sibling the Corpse Reviver #1 should also get some love.

Corpse Reviver #1 incorporates brandy, apple brandy, sweet vermouth, and our Ginger Lemongrass Simple Syrup. It may lack the notoriety of the Corpse Reviver #2, however this cocktail is delicious on a crisp Halloween night.

Ingredients

1½ oz Brandy
¾ oz Applejack
½ oz Sweet Vermouth
¼ oz Social Mixers Ginger Lemongrass Simple Syrup

Directions

In a glass pitcher, combine ingredients.
Add ice and stir to combine, chill, and slightly dilute.
Strain into a coupe glass.
